The APC Power Distribution Unit (PDU) empowers system administrators to efficiently monitor and manage server power distribution. Thanks to the APC PDU’s alert system, administrators can take proactive action against power overloads before critical incidents occur. Via a remote Web Interface, the Metered model allows administrators to monitor the power load of each individual outlet, while the Switched model provides independent control—such as powering off or delaying specific outlets—to proactively prevent power overloads.
